History & Background of Algilani Foundation

The Algilani Foundation was established under the blessed leadership of Dr. Sayyedowais  Mohammadfarooq Abdulwahab Algilani, a respected Islamic scholar and social leader, and a proud descendant of Sayyedna Ghaus-e-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Gilani (QaddasAllahu Sirrahul Aziz). Rooted in the timeless teachings of Islam and the spiritual legacy of the Ahl-e-Bayt and Awliya, the Foundation stands as a living embodiment of Khidmat-e-Khalq (service to creation).

This initiative was born out of a heartfelt realization: despite progress in many sectors, countless people — especially the poor, the orphaned, the sick, and the uneducated — continue to suffer in silence. Inspired by the blessed example of Ghaus-e-Azam QSA, who combined spiritual excellence with unmatched humanitarian service, Dr. Sayyedowais Algilani founded this organization to serve humanity, uplift the needy, and revive the ethical and moral values of Islam in practical life.

The Spiritual Foundation

Sayyedna Shaikh Abdul Qadir Gilani (QSA) is known not only as the leader of the Awliya but also as a reformer who empowered societies through ‘Ilm (knowledge), ‘Adl (justice), and Rahmah (mercy). His message of serving the creation for the sake of the Creator is the foundational principle of the Algilani Foundation.

This is not just an organization — it is a spiritual movement that seeks to reconnect society with Islamic values of love, compassion, unity, and service.

Humble Beginnings

The Foundation began its journey with simple yet impactful programs:

Distributing food and ration kits to the poor,

Arranging religious programs such as Urs, Milad, and Seerat conferences,

Supporting students and orphans with school fees and supplies,

Conducting health check-up camps and awareness drives.

These early steps were guided not by material resources but by deep spiritual intention (niyyah), du'a, and complete trust in Allah ﷻ.

Continuing the Legacy

The Algilani Foundation is not only a service platform — it is a continuation of the mission of the Awliya and Ahl-e-Bayt: to heal the broken, educate the forgotten, guide the lost, and elevate the Ummah with sincerity, humility, and unwavering faith in Allah ﷻ.

"Indeed, Allah will aid a servant as long as the servant is helping his brother."

(Hadith – Sahih Muslim)
